With a network of convenience store in Wales, Martin McColl tasked Monro to develop a low-cost but visually appealing carrier bag that can exclusively distributed in their Welsh stores in anticipation of the Carrier Bag Tax.

Martin McColl and Monro together set about engineering a higher quality product than their generic bag that would not only carry a quality image but would help the Martin McColl customer feel they are getting value for money when buying the carrier bag.

The result was the new and improved Vest Carrier, proudly showing off the Welsh Dragon alongside the important Martin McColl logo.
